Deep Water Brazilian Jiujitsu, Muay Thai, Judo operates as Deep Water Academy in Casper, Wyoming. Originally established in Boulder, Colorado in 2000, the black belt academy has served Casper, Wyoming since 2010 and draws on more than 25 years of academy tradition and 30 years of studying and teaching martial arts. Rather than blending styles into mixed martial arts, the school preserves three separate disciplines: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kick Boxing, and Judo, emphasizing leverage, timing, and technical execution. Both beginner-friendly and advanced programs are offered, introducing newcomers and returning students step by step alongside experienced coaches and teammates. For younger practitioners, enrollment is based on individual developmental readiness and maturity rather than a fixed minimum age, judging readiness case by case, since an exceptional 13-year-old may be ready while a 17-year-old may not be, and expecting students to study the arts with humility, courage, patience, self-control, and perseverance.
