Carlson Gracie Winter Haven | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Martial Arts, Kick boxing, Physical Fitness & Self Defense Training

Carlson Gracie Winter Haven provides martial arts training at 622 Ave O SW in Winter Haven, Florida. As part of the Carlson Gracie Rafa Santos team, the academy offers instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking disciplines, and functional self-defense for children and adults. Instruction is directed by co-owner and lead instructor Andrew Kinchen, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who has trained under Rafa Santos since 2007. Coach Kinchen teaches the Carlson Gracie style emphasizing heavy pressure passing from the top, technical sweeps, and submissions from the guard, helping students build practical grappling proficiency. The school organizes training schedules to support diverse student needs, offering beginner and advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions alongside striking classes. Youth practitioners can participate in structured kids martial arts and homeschool programs designed to develop discipline, motor skills, and confidence on and off the training mats.
